Argos 2x12 cabinet
Like the Argos amplifier itself, the matching 2x12 is the perfect marriage of old school design and modern sonic characteristics.
Designed to work flawlessly with the Argos head, the 2x12 retains the width and depth dimensions of the Priam and Creon range, however it is slightly taller which translates into added low end firmness and authority for both rhythm and lead work alike. Humbucker and single coil guitars will sit right at home with this cab, without excessive flub or harsh ‘beaminess’ in the frequency range.
Offered in a closed back format, the Argos 2x12 will compete with many current 4x12’s for aural dominance in a rehearsal and live setting, projecting every nuance of your playing with musical clarity. The Argos 2x12 sounds big, clear and open – it’s a very natural and ‘easy on the ears’ sounding cabinet, planned to work equally well for cleans, crunch and high gain applications.
As with all Achillies cabs, the Argos reflects a no compromises approach to quality – voidless Russian Baltic Birch, traditionally dovetailed with metal handles, wired to your specifications.
The Argos is offered standard with Celestion G12H-75 Creambacks to maximise the feel and tone of the Argos amplifier.

We only use Authentic Russian Baltic Birch Plywood on all of our cabinets. Not Chinese baltic birch which does not have the same acoustic properties and sound quality.

Argos 2x12
I was after a local build Amp and Cab. HeadfirstCali& Achillies Argos 2x12 celestion G12H-75 Creambacks. Game over..the cab is so good i ordered another for my Friedman Dirty shirley..the cab is..im lost for words..ive now got my dream setups. Im a believer of your amp is as good as your cabs. Thanks Labros for building such amazing gear.

Achillies Argos 2x12
I just recently purchased 2 of these cabinets so I can run either separately, or daisy chain them and have a sort of quad box if necessary. I loaded them with a combination of 4 different speakers. The cabinets sound great. The quality of both the components and the construction of the cabinets is very high. Labros was very knowledgeable and helpful when I made my initial enquires about the product. They were built and delivered on time. I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend them to any guitarist who is looking to build their own tone.

Argos 2x12 cabinets
The Argos 2x12 cabinets are by far the best cabs I have ever had in 26 years of playing the guitar. I have owned or played through cabs built by the big German, American or English brands and my Achillies cabs rule them all. The built quality is top notch and the attention to detail is amazing. Labros kept me in the loop during the build to check and confirm every detail (logo style, piping colour...) and he has been awesome with communicating about minor delays caused by covid impact on supply chain. As the cabs are made to order, the ability to choose the tolex colour, cloth style, piping, speakers, open/closed back, wiring, etc... meant that I could get exactly the cabs I wanted, custom made to my specs. I highly recommend the Argos 2x12 to anyone looking for a top quality / killer sounding cabinet.
